Editing Posts

So I've decided to go back and edit my vacuum roller post, because it seems to be taking up a lot of space on my blog. How do I set it up so that only the top part of the entire post shows up on the home page? And I realized that adding pictures will defiantly help people see my point (hehe). In your blogging experiences, how often have you edited a post after it’s been up for a while, and do you see people comment on them afterwards?

  2. I never go back and edit things like that, I just leave them how they are.

  3. I edit them sometimes when I notice spelling or grammar mistakes.

  4. I don't think you can do that. You should have an archive if a reader wants to look back at an article..

  5. I edit spelling and grammar like Zyu, but not usually anything else. People don't usually look at my old posts though.

As to how you show just the top of your post on the home page: When you're composing a new post there's a page break option at the top of the page. It looks like a page with a tear going across. Place the cursor wherever you want the break to be in your pos - and then click on that little page break icon.

    1. I'd like to ad, if you are doing the post in html just use this tag:

      for a page break

  9. I sometimes look back at some older ones and notice a typo or two. If it bothers me I fix it, if not I leave it be
